Approved for 5 EMDRIA Credits

& 5 NBCC CE's

This advanced 5-hour EMDR training provides an in-depth exploration of Phase 2 Extended Resourcing with a focus on knowing when and how to slow down the therapeutic process.

Participants will deepen their understanding of the critical role preparation plays in successful EMDR outcomes, particularly with complex trauma presentations.

The training integrates practical applications of mindfulness strategies, attachment figures, and resource development to strengthen stability and resilience prior to trauma processing. Through the use of structured assessments, clinical interventions, demonstrations, and visual flow charts, therapists will learn to identify client readiness, enhance adaptive networks, and intervene effectively when challenges arise. Emphasis will be placed on clinical decision-making, pacing, and tailoring interventions to support client safety and therapeutic alliance.

By the end of this training, participants will leave with expanded skills, concrete tools, and a clearer framework for applying extended resourcing in their advanced EMDR practice.
